Allentown is located just north of Philadelphia and south of Bethlehem, PA. With over 200 restaurants, bars, breweries, and coffee shops, it is easy to find great entertainment here. There are many museums, parks, historic sites, as well as shopping venues. I've rounded up some of my favorites below.

It is the fastest-growing major city in Pennsylvania and the state's third largest city, behind Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. It is the largest city in both Lehigh County and the Lehigh Valley, which had a population of 861,899 and was the 68th most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of 2020. Allentown was founded in 1762 and is the county seat of Lehigh County.Located on the Lehigh River, a 109-mile-long (175 km) tributary of the Delaware River, Allentown is the largest of three adjacent cities (along with Bethlehem and Easton) in Lehigh and Northampton counties that form the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania.Allentown is located 48 miles (77 km) north of Philadelphia and 78 miles (126 km) west of New York City.
